This might seem like a silly question. I usually spend a lot of my day with my two piggies, but due to work I now only see them briefly in the morning and then not until about 5pm so my time cuddling with them has got less. This has made me sad because I really miss them and I know they know me as they always wheek at me in the morning and when I come home (they are so loud even the neighbours have noticed them!) but I just wanted to know do they notice and feel abandoned as can they miss me?

Yes, of course they will miss you and their normal routine. Our first family piggy back in the 70ies did a big dance of joy every time he came back home after a holiday. ;)

Now my piggies always visibly of relax when I come back from a family visit to another country.

Yes I would say they do. My biscuit shows me her displeasure if I have been away overnight and others have fed her. Nothing some coriander and green beans won't solve though. She is then back to cuddles and snuggles.

Yeah my two boys go absolutely crazy - I just feel so bad and hold them until I go to bed! I just wanted to know if I’ve gone crazy 😂

Mine greet me happily when I have been away and my neighbour has been in to feed them. They know Mummy's voice and the normal routine!

I had to leave my special needs piggy for a week once (sadly she's no longer with us). She got so distressed she developed ringworm even though she stayed at home and my friends came to feed, water etc using the same routine I did. The others were just happy I brought them grass back I think :lol!: but yes I believe they miss us.
