do guineapigs like to lie on the Back or is it just Mine? lol

Are sutty enjoys lieing on his back for some reason haha. he likes to act like a baby! is this normal? does anyone else's guineapig do it? x
 
If I put Archie on his back he will lie there for ages and let me tickle his tummy :)) My 2 girls hate being on their backs though. I know most piggies aren't keen on being on their backs, but their are a few that don't seem to mind :)
 
All of mine go into major panic screaming mode when tipped back, their eye's go wide.
 
I have one boar, Terfel, who adores his tummy tickles and will happily lie on his back for ages, but for my other, piggies it is a strict NO, THANKS!
 
I would get written letter's of complaints off ours if I tried this... :))
 
I have one that rolls over but wont actually lie on his back. I have a girl that enjoys swimming round the bath too! Even though she can put her feet on the floor she chooses not to!

My first piglet Jacob liked his tummy tickles and he had loads of health problems but would quite happily lie on his back until I said "come forward" and he would right himself.

My sister had a huge boar called Jack and I discovered he liked tummy tickles too, when he came for his holidays :)) You could cradle him in your arms. I have a huge soft spot for big soppy boars.
 
I try to turn my piggies over gentlely but they absolutely HATE it and squirm. will they get use to it? :)
 
My piggies don't like tummy tickles but I absolutely love their cute little bellies so when I pick then up I give them a little smooch on them before I set them down :p I figure since I can't get tummy rubs from them at least I can get a little tummy smooch since they don't like nose smooches much either and try to nibble me when I do :))

I am no expert, especially compared to others who have owned piggies for years on here. But I figure if they do not like it then they probably never will because it usually scares them.

If they are similar to kitties if their tummies are exposed they feels more exposed to danger and injury because their internal organs are more exposed.:)
