Do Hair Dye Fumes Hurt Guinea Pigs?

My Mum just put on her hair dye, completely forgetting about my 8 piggies that are in her bedroom, she just didn't realize. She was in there with the dye for about 10 minutes, then she realized and opened all the windows in the room and went downstairs.

My piggies seem fine but would being exposed to the fumes for 10 minutes be damaging to them?
 
Whilst exposure to that sot of thing probably isn't ideal, if it was only for a short time and the windows are now open I am sure they will be fine.
What I find hilarious is that you could be in a room with 8 guinea pigs and not notice that!

I don't know how she 'forgot' either, she said she didn't even think twice about it and then when she realized she panicked... I'm beginning to worry about her!

Anyway it has been a while since it happened and all my pigs are fine, no worries here, besides my Mum's brain functionality of course...
