Hi there,
I have 2 males living together, Ollie & Fuzz, 11 month old brothers, and suddenly they seem to be not getting along.Ollie is blind, has been from birth, and Fuzz used to be quite affectionate towards him. But recently I noticed Fuzz starting to bully Ollie & he cant seem to get a minutes peace. Ollie seems to be doing the submissive crying sound and teeth chattering, sometimes louder & quicker than others, but Fuzz will run at him from behind, and when Ollie turns Fuzz has his mouth wide showing his teeth. He'll chase him from food bowls, hay, beds, water bottles or anything Ollie has, he wont really let him rest, there hasnt been any bloodshed yet but with Ollie being blind I'm afraid Fuzz will really hurt him one of these days. They are in a 5 by 3 c&c cage with a top level also but Fuzz just seems he wants everything to himself.
Will this get better or worse or do I have to seperate now b4 someone gets really hurted ?
Any advice greatly received.

Hi and welcome!

Most piggies are through the very worst of the teenage months, but the 'quiet' piggies can get them at the late stage.

Please take the time to carefully read this very detailed and comprehensive guide here. If in doubt, conduct a trial separation with a divider to see how Ollie is taking it; you have to take it from there.
Boars: Teenage, Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?

I don't think that Fuzz will go as far as actively hurting Ollie, but is certainly somewhat of a bully boy right now. If Ollie still wants to be with Fuzz, then you have every chance that they can make to a hormonally more settled adulthood together. Dynamics in a disabled/carer bond are a bit different than in a normal bond, but that doesn't mean that teenage is necessarily problem-free!

Hi Wiebke,
I'll read through it just now, thank you, yeah Fuzz certainly is at moment. I hope they can make it, would be a shame to seperate, they can be very sweet together.
