I know some people feed their piggies peppers and its something that I have never tried with mine. I looked for some yesterday in Tesco but they didn't seem to have any. Are all peppers suitable for guinea pigs or is it just the green ones for example that they can have?/

They can have all colours but red has the most sugar in so I would only give them red as a treat. Green is fine for them 1/8th a day to give them their requirements. :)

Oh yes just the bell ones, and not the seeds just the flesh. :)

Don't want the pigs having chillies and doing impressions of Mikey in BB! -c

Some of mine like pepper (all colours) and some other just turn their noses up. So it's up to piggy's tastebuds.

Good luck trying!

Mine love them, they love anything except for courgette and parsnip. :)

no mine doesnt, hates it with a passion, will run away so fast when put it near him! hes really fussy GP anyway! :)

I got them a bag of aromatic babyleaf herb salad that was reduced from £1.60 to 40p in Tesco's on Saturday and they loved them.:)

make sure it doesn't have iceburg lettuce in though! That's dodgy for a piggy.

My pigs all love peppers, the bell type ;)

None of mine will touch pepper, they'll back away from you if offered and if you dare pop it in their bowl they poo all over it, bless them:))

No it was just herbs - no lettuce in it at all.:)

sounds good!
tesco is good for salady type things if you go just before they close, you get lots of money off. It's ace for me as I have 4 and they'll get through these things before it's gone off! x

Mine don't like them either, one of my girls, Tango tried a bit and the face she pulled was priceless.

Mine love peppers! They snap them up straight away! Nice treat for them really as they're not that cheap and I have six guineas! :)

My guineas ( Pink and Rabbit) ate a few bits of yellow pepper today within seconds and good thing too I have quite a few just ripening in my greenhouse. Apparently peppers have more vitamin c ( ounce for ounce) than oranges.
