Do your pigs have life hacks too?!

So one of my food bowls is a combined food and water one and I’ve noticed that my boy Finn will often deliberately drop his dry nuggets into it to soften them up before fishing them out and eating them (which is fine until he wanders off and leaves them there to turn into gunge and dirty up the water ) #piggielifehack

So, with that in mind, what ‘life hacks’ do your piggies have to make their very difficult little lives () easier to cope with?

Every time I read this, I have to remind myself that you didn't write "mashed potatoes" because guinea pigs don't eat mashed potatoes.

Our boys food bowl is also used as a toilet but piggy poo is also food isn’t it!?

I’ve seen his very clumsy brother popcorn into the food/water bowl before and knock things flying, so I just assumed it was that at first, but I’ve since seen Finn deliberately drop the pellets in then fish them out and eat them several times now. He eats them dry too, but I guess he just likes to mix it up every now and then

It’s probably the difference between having chips and mashed potato (which, by the way, they definitely do not have! Mashed potatoes are all mine...especially cheesy mash!)
