Do your pigs like strawberries or lettuce better?

I thought I would make a quick poll to see if your pigs like fruit or veg more.

Mine would choose Strawberries over lettuce but Dill over strawberries lol

I had a boy who I expected to adore strawberries, he was a naturally chunky boy and loved anything edible however he absolutely turned his nose up at strawberries - he couldn’t even have more than a lick which I thought was interesting given his character

I've never had a guinea pig that ate strawberries. None of my current ones will eat any fruit except the occasional bit of apple. Mine don't like lettuce much either and will only eat it if there's nothing else.

Apologies, I should have explained myself better - perils of hasty posting. Since most lettuce has little or no nutritional value but a high water content, it should be fed sparingly. A small amount of lettuce (as per the recommended diet guide Long Term Balanced General And Special Needs Guinea Pig Diets) can be fed daily unless you have bladder pigs. The message I really wanted to convey was the need to feed it sparingly

Meh our ladies and teenager kind of turn the nose up at first with the strawberries..they go nuts for celery treats..lettuce is "oh..ok then"..
