yeah very smart, i was saying to my partner today how the piggies need a bigger cage but looking at that thread ours have plenty of space,
:) ::)

extremley clever piggie but that cage is far 2 small :tickedoff:

Thats a very clever piggie, i wonder how it learnt to do it, Mind you i would be worried it would let itself out when i was not there lol. Thats a very small cage :( its so sad to see :(

Far too small a cage. :(
One very clever piggie.

So how often is he 'allowed' to escape :o >:( >:( >:( >:(
That's awful poor little ones no room to move :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
ahhh he needs a real home with people who love him and will give him room :-\

It the pig is a house pig and has the run of the room and the cage is just its bolt hole then its OK. Clever to open and shut door. It probably cant open it from the inside if it is shut properly.

Thats one very smart piggy!
And one very small cage. My hamsters cage is bigger than that. Have you read the comments? They say the piggies have no hidey house because it makes them more comfortable with people if they dont have one...? hmm.

It would make them terrified more like! ::) Even though I put my pigs in a 4x4 play pen they have tunnels and hidey igloos otherwise they would just be running around scared out of their wits!

Iv just watched that and there is two pigs in the cage! I thought the black and white thing in the corner was a teddy at first but it lifts its head up when the pig goes into the cage. Its disgusting cant believe the size. The second pig looks really depressed.

Peter Gurney actually says that in one of his books that if you want a pig that doesnt run away every time you pass dont give it somewhere to hide, so it looks like they may be following genuine good advise.

That was my first thought, the piggie looks happy and healthy the owners appear to love and be proud of it, maybe we are being judgmental without knowing the facts.

For all we know those owner think keeping a piggy in the shed during the winter is cruel, but that is acceptable.

What I am trying to say is it greats that we are all concerned about piggy welfare, but imagine how you would feel is a group of strangers criticised how you cared for your piggies without knowing you or the facts

Lol - thats a very clever piggie! The piggie does look happy and healthy - it maybe has the run of the house and can come/go as it pleases. x

May be in there country house pets have smaller cages but it is small. Clever guinea pig I expect he is the local hit man as well, I was in my cage all the time, officer!

isn't that a bird cage or something and also is it me or is there another piggie in there aswell :'(

yes there was two piggies in there wen i had one hamster the cage was bigger than that? :( :(

The cage is relly small, I cant believe how clever that piggie is.
