does anyone use dog crates as cages for their guineas? how do u find them if u do?

I used one for my rabbit. He lived in it over winter in our conservatory. The only downside is that if you only keep them on the one level there is so much wasted space.

I've seen them used for rabbits & can be found on ebay or in local papers. You can put shelves in them with ramps for the piggies which would give them more floor space

thats what we are hoping to do, have the 3 boys together in the crate but add some shelfs and hammocks

What a great idea,I never thought of that I have a dog cage in my shed from when my dog was a puppy

i have used one for a house rabbit, works well, but would be better with another floor
my step-sister used to keep her 2 ducks in a dog crate when she lived in a flat. they loved it. . (i didn't agree with this)
