dogs love guinea pigs

my dogs are addicted to my pigs, anywhere they go she goes, she gives them there wash that is unwanted, and treats them like her own puppies, (even though she has never had them), does anyone else have this really really annoying problem?
 
One of my dogs loves the piggies, I am forever telling him to get out of their run :))
 
mine sits guard outside of the run all day, and if there in the huch she sits out and guards that, even if its tipping down with rain... stupid dog, shes aways getting under my feet, expesially cleaning out time, I'm always telling her to go away :L
 
Mine used to be a bit mad about the guinea pigs, like they'd run around the runs constantly and bark at them! But now they're so used to them, they'll just go up and give them a gentle kiss :) They're so sweet, and know the pigs are part of the family.

But my new puppy decides that the guinea pigs need their faces washed and won't stop licking them! And she nibbles their ears and they squeak (she is only a tiny Cavalier pup so doesn't hurt them too much!). Anytime they drink out of their water bottles she goes up and licks them through the bars. :))

I don't let them run around with the dogs or be alone with them or anything, just in case, but I trust my dogs to sniff the pigs and give them kisses.
 
My cats are fascinated by them but for a very different reason!
 
ill tap the doggie and piggie thread, mine almost stamps on them wen she gets all exited, we thibnk its because she thinks there her pups :L:p
 
My little dog shakes with excitement when I have a piggy out of his/her cage. She could sit and stare all day. When I'm cleaning them out/feeding them she is always there getting in the way lol She's a bit obsessed to say the least, any opportunity to interact with one and she's there.
