Thanks so much!
With my beautiful girl now! :D Giving her lots @piggieminder! And getting some rather slobbery kisses back! 🤢:xd:
Wish she’d pay attention when I tell her to chill out though! Blooming brave little lady! 52698005-F4CC-4F10-A047-6CF0AB9D08B0.jpeg3763F742-C7BA-4CC9-945B-0ED0C3C114D4.jpeg
She amazes me! Two ops in three months but you’d never guess other than that T-shirt (which she hates!)!

Thanks @Claire W :) It definitely isn’t as big and open as last time but still doesn’t look too nice bless her! She’s a cheery girl though, and only on her metacam, such a tough ‘un! xx

Sis just sent me this picture, she’s worried about Princess’s scar and has called vets, I’m worrying now too!

Ouch 🙈 She’s been licking the T-shirt (and her wound’s been getting damp) as obviously bothering her where her hair’s growing back and it’s really itchy but it’s looking rather nasty this morning :( She’s waiting for vets to get back to her.
I’m thinking antibiotics and a cone of shame very soon! Poor doggy doo bless her.

Oh no. Ouch. It’s so hard to get them to leave their wounds alone isn’t it. I got Izzy and George an inflatable bumper collar when they have needed a cone.

Hope it heals up super fast. Xx

Thanks guys :)
My sister said she’s woken up to her really wet on the T-shirt around there yest and today so she obviously knows to get it when everyone’s snoring like these naughty beggars do! :doh:Metacam in the morning too so guessing that’s wearing off as well.
Will suggest that to my sis thanks @Lavinia :)
Hopefully she can get it sorted, poor doggle, looks blooming sore!

She got really distressed when they got home with the regular cone yesterday afternoon so my sister ended up travelling over to two P@Hs in Coventry to find one (as our shop was shut 🤦‍♀️), so much better with that!
She’s on synulox every 12 hours, my sister has to clean it a couple of times a day and back to the vets on Friday!

Aww I’m happy to help. My two have always been less distressed with that type than the cone. Hope it heals up super fast for her. Such a cute and brave girl.

Yes after my horrifying experience with Rosie the cat’s infected spay wound and a cone I had a feeling she might not tolerate a regular one too well! 🙈
Great it worked so well for your lovelies, she’s definitely much happier with that on! Thanks so much! :) xx

Warning! Don’t look if you’re not good with open wounds!

Look what Princess looks like now! :eek:Sister came home from work to find she’d managed to do this, they warned her it’d be a harder recovery with this one because of where it is, so easy to rip the stitches 🙈 Ouch 😣

So lots of cleaning for my sister, vets have seen it and she’s back to see them Friday. I’ve been up there giving her a hand, but have told her to clean it as much as she can! Poor Princess bless her.
