Senior Guinea Pig
Today Cy has been sorting the rescue shed for winter. He had already insulated and boarded it and I had electric but not as stable as I wanted. Today he has:
Fitted a double glazed window we bought
Put electric cut off switches in so if anything happens with the electrics it shuts right off
wired up a ceiling light whereas before I had to go right to the back and put a lamp on
put an oil filled radiator out there
Still to do:
Curtain pole and curtains
Pen to be made for bessie, gypsy & mork - theirs is going to be stunning and huge. But to do that he has to move some wiring which he's doing now.
I have adopted out 3 piggies today and have 2 more in the pipeline. Met with volunteers and taught them syringe feeding and indoor cage cleaning. I have put a corner 2 storey indoor cage in the kitchen and have a heavily pregnant girl in there as well as 2 special needs girls.
And children wise we have made a BIG cardboard dolls house, it's very cool and even has wallpaper, vetbed carpets and homemade curtains.
It's been such a busy day I am shattered!
