Do you ever get a feeling that one of your piggies are dreaming? How do they act?

I always assumed that piggies dont dream hence the lack of REM-sleep but... Not only do they purr, talk veryvery softly or twitch an ear - well, three of my boys only does from what Ive noticed - then Ive started notice Bob!

Bob does the perfect dreaming eyetwitch, shaking his ears, running/kicks with his backfoot and bumps his buttocks like his a little salsadancer. He sleeps mutch harder then the others.

I'm pretty sure Bob has nice dreams about a harem with girls, all the greens ge could wish for and a lot of nice pillows. What do you think your pig is dreaming about when it kicks around and showing of somekind of salsa?IMG_20220624_132846.webp

That is really cool, I have not seen this in my two guineas. I am watching Penny sleep now, she has twitched an ear but basically motionless.

I’ve seen ear twitching and mini foot twitching movements that I’ve always assumed were them having some sort of dream. But it can be hard sometimes to tell if they are asleep, unless they close their eyes.

Micah sleeps with his eyes tightly closed and I often see an ear twitch.
I assume he’s dreaming sweet piggy dreams
