Drinking A Lot

Lately I have noticed that Fi Fi has been drinking a lot and is constantly at her water bottle. She drinks so much more than my other piggies. She is around 3 possibly we aren't sure as she is a rescue. It's not due to warm weather down here cause it cold. She eats nuggets but only in small quantities and loves her veg. Any suggestions. May take her to the vet but unsure thanks.

Some pigs do drink more than others but is this something that has changed recently or has she always drunk more?

Went to the vets she has kidney disease

How did they diagnose this?

Good luck, In my experience they don't go well so please find a specialist so you can at least give her a chance x

The vet felt her kidneys and said they were too big. She doesn't think she has long to go she doesn't think we can do anything
