once again i’m probably over reacting.
my guinea pig has suddenly been drinking a lot more than usual, to be honest she doesn’t even drink that much and usually gets her water from veggies (from what i’ve heard) ...
is there a reason? could it be because the radiators are on? and what’s the temperature in the room that they enjoy?
thanks :)

Sudden increased or decreased drinking can be connected to lots of short term changes in the piggy room. Unless they persist (i.e. unless your piggy continues to drink lots every day), that is nothing to worry about. Piggies enjoy the same temperature range as us humans, i.e. around 20 C.

If you want to learn more about drinking and what to look our for, I would recommend you to read our drinking guide: All About Drinking And Bottles
