Dry Skin

I noticed today that the sin on my 7month old guniea pigs ear is dry. what can I do to help him with dry skin?
 
Having a vet check done would be a good idea as it could be a sign of a fungal infection etc. Please don’t put anything on it yourself without having seen a vet as if could mask symptoms and delay potential treatment making any problem harder to deal with.

Just got back from the vet its not fungal just a case of dry skin. the vet just suggested to put some coconut oil on his ear for a few days and told me if it doesnt get any better to come back.

If the vet is sure its just dry skin then Gorgeous Guineas do a great range of guinea pig skin care products, my big old floofy girl Jezzy who has dry skin and crusty feet is a big fan of their moisturising creams!

Is that brand avaiable in the united states? I have searched amazon and am not finding it..

They arent on Amazon as its only a small company but they have their own website and do ship to the USA, I remember one of our American members (maybe @HeatherRose ) buying from them?
