How do you dry forage? I’m sure it’s a simple thing but...my mind draws a blank!

It depends on what it is.
I usually rinse everything first in a big metal colander in the garden.
I then lay it out on old bath towels in the sun to dry.
If i have a lot and it's a bit breezy I put it in newspaper lined cat littler trays to stop it blowing away (they were never used for cats - just piggy forage).
If the weather outside isn't great I bring things inside and put them on the floor in a sunny spot (or a windowsill if you have one - we don't).
I turn things around occasionally to make sure everything gets properly dried.
Once it's dry I put it in an old biscuit tin.

For larger branches I hang these up in the garage.
