No it's not me - it's long-haired Louise's little problem. She arrived here with her own bottle of Cleanaural (for dogs). She has no nasty ear problems and has been vet-checked but I think she might just get a hotter head and have less ventillation because of the general floof so makes a bit of wax. It's not a lot, and if it's soft I can actually just comb it off her hair but I found a crusty dry little bit tonight and gave the ear cleaner a go. I'm just a bit wary of using things I don't know - they said "wear gloves!" and that made me think that if a person might react to it how must a pig? Also Zara occasionally licks her ears and I suspect she's having a little go herself.
Has anyone any experience with cleaning small amounts of ear wax like this? Should I stick with the Cleanaural or try something like warm water on a cotton pad to soften things up? It's not a serious issue but as she didn't seem to mind having her ears fondled I thought we'd make it a regular thing
