I have just received a phone call to say that Bandit, who was twelve years old last Christmas, died at 6:15pm this evening. He gradually faded during the course of the day whilst his one owner sat with him but he did not die until his "main" owner arrived back home and told Bandit that it was time for him to go.

Oh bless, what a special pig Bandit was. My thoughts are with Bandit's owners.

so sorry to read this AP, he must have had a brilliant life. RIP Bandit.

What a wonderful age, I'm so sorry for his family. RIP wee man.

wow, what a grand old age, and a lovely peaceful way to go <3
RIP Bandit x

He had a good life, apparently, he had never been ill.
I am glad if mine get past their fourth birthday!

RIP Bandit - what an age and what a testament to the strong bonds that can bind us!

That very sad, what a great life he had, its a pity they can't all have long healthy lives like that.

That is so sad, but i'm so so glad he decided to wait for his 'main' owner, gosh the bond they must've had.......totally awesome, so unique x) to get the bond of a piggie like doesn't come too often....we are blessed when it happens.
RIP Bandit run free at the bridge, such an amazing life you've had, popcorn in the fields of lush grass, i'm sure you're now catching up with heaps of mates, friends and new friends, you'll always be remembered and loved by your family xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Please pass on our condolences to Bandit's family .........it is hard loosing a friend that's been around for that long xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Another little star now twinkling in the sky .............. :(

RIP Bandit You were obviously well loved and cherished to have lived to such a grand old age!
