When i got Elvis his hair was all over the place (which we loved lol) But as he is getting older we notice that his hair is changing a lot! specially in his lower back, its getting very long and straight.

I'm assuming he is an abyssinian mix? what do you guys think?

right? he changed compleatly in a matter of months lol

and your Binky is the cutest! Elvis hair looks just like that too! but his back hair is just very straight. he is one funny looking pig i tell you lol but we love him

@Guanchy I'm surprised how much he changed! It's like he's completely lost his baby coat and is a new breed of pig!
When we first got Binky his hair was much shorter and we thought he had been crossed with a short hair... we were wrong! We keep it trimmed to about what you can see in the above picture because it annoys him otherwise and he just grooms himself all day rather than playing!

He is an abyruvian, a mix of long-haired peruvian and short-haired abyssinian. Because he is a cross, his long-haired heritage is growing out at some point during his first year (usually rather the second half than the first), and not straight from birth onwards as a full peru would.

I love these short/long-hair crosses as they are full of surprises and you never know what you end up with! The face is very much aby, but the back end is obviously peru. They can range from coming fully after one parent or the other, or anything in between!
 
Thanks Wiebke for the info. Yes i have an older Abyssinian female. Her and Elvis have the same face but their hair is different now that Elvis is getting older
