Yesterday I was looking through the veg section in Tesco and I grabbed a living salad off the shelf as I heard that some people feed these to their piggies. I fed it to them last night and just now as I was preparing tonights evening snack I realised that the living salad was in fact a range of seasonal lettuces - are they ok to eat this?
And if not what will happen to them as they have already eaten last nights helping.

when you say 'seasonal lettuce' do you mean they're different varieties? If so it should be fine, i feed mine the mixed salad bags.

There is some purple stuff and some green stuff which I dont think is iceberg. I'm trying to figure it out. The pigs are sqeaking like mad for it as they know I have their dinner ready - they dont seem to have been affected by what they ate yesterday.

Mine have had these and they love them :)

They're usually frisee and lollo rosso type lettuces, so I'm sure you'll be fine ;)
