@helen105281 I'm confused :( Can you help me please :flag:
My bottle of this has just arrived from hyperdrug but the instructions don't seem very clear either that or I'm a dumbo....ok may be it's the latter lol.
It say.....direction dilute with 50 parts warm water and wash affected animal with the diluted product on four occasions at three day intervals preparing fresh solutions each time. Well I get the last bit but how much of the solution should I dilute with the 50 parts of warm water it doesn't say I have a cup with the bottle it has 5ml and 10ml lines on it. Do I make a bath in the sink and bath them in this? ( on the bottle it says don't contaminate the water supplies...I'm guessing that's if I tipped the whole bottle of neat solution down the sink)
What does it mean four occasions at three day intervals that makes me think I've got to make it up and put it in a spray bottle, spraying them 4 times in one day every third day.
I was going to ring the company but as you use this Helen I thought I would ask you first as I trust your feedback.
Many thanks kell

I use this for my fungal prone boy Fudge. I make up a solution of 1ml Imavoral (same as yours but just a different name) to 50mls of warm water, I mix it in a measuring jug and use a toothbrush to dip and scrub the worst patches and use the rest to dip him in. I don't wash it off but leave him to air dry (if its cold out) I make sure to add a heat pad for him to sit on and cozies to keep him warm.

As to frequency people seem to have different routines as to their level of success, with Fudge I had the greatest success wih having a full dip 4/5 days apart with localised toothbrush scrubbing 2/3 days apart. Whether a dip or localised scrubbing I did it only once a day. I know Helen has a different routine for her piggies when using this stuff (not sure if I remember it exactly though!) I started with her routine and adjusted it for Fudgebum.

I use it slightly differently to most people in that I use the ratio I have been advised to use by my friend who advises me on fungal and that is 10ml of Imaverol to 1.1 litres of water. However, I think others use a ratio of 1:50 which I believe is 10ml to 500ml but someone correct me if I am wrong on that.

Those are the instructions for using as a dip though and they mean to dip the whole pig in the diluted solution every 3 days for a total of 4 times. I tend to put it in a large jug, dunk them in it and then work it in around the face etc with a throw away bit of sponge. I know Wiebke uses a syringe for this.

I dip at different intervals too as I only dip once a week for 4 weeks but use it topically on the affected areas 2-3 times week at a ratio of 5ml Imaverol to 50ml of water. This can be put in a spray bottle. As you have dealt with Ringworm previously I would follow the instructions on the bottle for the frequency.

Also if you want to make up less, then going by the 1:50 ratio you can use 5ml to 250ml.

Hope it goes well! Fudge gets his grump on when he knows it is dipping time, but he I think he knows it helpsmas he doesn't sulk after like he does with a normal bath!

Your right, they didn't like it and their not happy with me :( .
I forgot to test behind their ears :( I've had such a bad day I totally forgot. I just the syringe it worked great to get around their eyes nose and ears the only thing is I think some of it went up Oreo and fudges nose as they sneezed a few time I tried to be really careful were I got the treatment but two of them hated it and it was hard to hold them and get the treatment all over their fur :( .
Thank you very much again to you both for your support and thank you too Ruth. @helen105281 I didn't think you had waffled at all, I found your info very clear and helpful thank you.
Here's a couple of pics of my boys sulking....fudge is refusing to come out of the cuddle sack he's very cross with me.

Oh bless them, they do look annoyed.
Just keep an eye out for any bright pink skin, but it is gentle so you should hopefully not get any reaction.

Thank you Helen we would be lost with you :) shall I stop worrying about getting it up fudge and Oreos nose they sneezed straight away so I hope that got it all out, those too didn't like it all, pip on the other hand quite enjoyed his bath I think :)

Just keep any eye on them for any laboured breathing or if they keep sneezing. My Jess once leapt in the air in the bath and nearly drowned herself and had water up her nose, she was ok but did sneeze for a while.

He may be a bit shocked. As long as he eats ok that's fine. Do their noses sound normal or do they sound snotty?

Hi Helen, I've just put him near my neck (still in the sack he's making no sounds at all thankfully...fewww he's not got a wet nose either or whites showing in his eyes like they do when you first pick them up and they didn't want you too. He's eating his tomato so that's good to see too. :)

I know Helen, fudge refused to put his front feet down so he held onto my hand as I treated him (not easy one handed) and Oreo really stresses so i treat him last, I talk to him as I syringe the treatment over his face then my daughter tips all the treatment water over his body while I hold him that we it's all over an do with quickly for him.
They had no redness from the last treatment thankfully Helen, and because they were scratching a lot today I thought it best to treat them every three days for four times :)

I have a a few that do that too it does make it difficult. When they have a bath and not a dip I tend to have a few in the bath together and Barney climbs on top of the others to get out of the water.

Glad there was no redness from the last dip.
