Squeee! Another ginge! But they are al gorgeous! I knew she was pregnant ha ha, i wish i betted the result on it now ha ha! xx

Duh :red:red I'm trying to recover still. My son was the first to spot them, thats 9 babies now!
 
Any ideas on the sexes yet? The firs lot must be coming up to separation age now? What are you going to do with all of the babies? They are all so gorgeous, if only i was nearer to you, daddy was a busy boy, but atleast all is safe and well. What do the new ones weigh? xx

Yeah, unfortunatly they will all need seperating. I imagine the first litter is really close to seperation age now... Are you short of cages? Maybe someone in your area could lend you some. :)

No more babies now I hope
 
Phew! Thankfully the lumpy look was not something too awful then!

So now it's all about getting the sexing right and separating the boys. If you need help you know to ask not guess - we all love the challenge of baby bits. If you are looking to rehome any then hopefully we can help there too.

Peppa's brood will be 21 days on the 3rd of december. Bella's lot will be on the 19th. The first lot is 2 boys which already have a home waiting for them (with an excited well informed lady and an eager 11 year old girl!) The other 3 of peppa's are girls which I shall keep. I'm not sure with the new bunch though! The grey one is a boy and I think the others are girls though I'll wait a few days and check again. I'm hoping to pair one off with lonely luigi. I'll keep all the girls though, luckily the cage is quite big so it can handle them! Thankyou for all your kind comments, if I need any help rehoming I won't hesitate to ask! Needless to say there'l be no more floor time with luigi EVER again! That boar is super fertile and managed 2 girls in a few minutes!
Bella's doing fine, I had to chuck out 2 placentas that were lingering but there wasn't a lot of blood and she isn't bleeding any more. She seems happier now she's lighter! A funny thing happening though is the babies keep sharing mums and sucking off the other pig thats not its mum! Neither seem to mind so I guess its a case of wet nursing pigs:))

Wonderful that your organised and know who needs seperating when. :) Guinea pigs are very good to their pregnant friends. Hopefull not too many will be girls or you will be needing to extend alot once theyre all grown! That will mean you have 8 girls? Woweeee. :)
 
I know, I'm a bit of a mental piggie addict :)) They're just so cute and funny! My kids help me a lot too with the cleaning out and feeding.
I've marked on my wall calender who goes when and I'm keeping track of who weighs what. The ginger one from the first litter who wasn't doing that well is now the heaviest of them all!
 
Oh wow so it was more then just a chubby piggy :)) I thought she did look a bit pregnant. What a surprise, they are all so adorable x)
