I have been to Janes today and collected Betsy who we have renamed Erin. I have no photo's as of yet but she is the baby Himi / Aby on the left here http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=45899

I have done introductions and it was tense to begin with. Eliza was fine but Eleanor had issues and there was a lot of teeth chattering, rumble strutting and fluffness on her part. I had to separate the 3 of them at one point.

3 hours later and after having tea together in the bath, things were much calmer and I have put them all in to a clean hutch as I didn't want to separate them again now that the bonding has begun.

I am on tender hooks tonight and checked on them loads. Erin was in hiding although I did spot her in the dome with Eleanor and when I have just checked them now, they are in bed together. She is so tiny compared to Eleanor and Eliza.

Wish me luck as I already love to bits :)

I don't think you need luck, I think you have a trio x). Fingers crossed... just incase ;)

Can't believe you don't have pigtures though! rolleyes!

Welcome Erin! I love the name and can't blame you for falling in love with that little girl straight away! It was EVER so hard for me to say no...

With all three girl cuddled up together, you should be safe; there might be a bit of stick over the next days to put the littl'un safely in her place, but she HAS been accepted into the group - and that is what counts!

Ffion and Briallen are sending their little friend their regards! x>>x>>x>>

Claire, I love the name Erin, I'm so glad you chose that, as it fits beautifully with Eliza and Eleanor.

It sounds to me as if they're doing very well together, and that you will have a very happy trio.

This has been a really exciting weekend with you and Wiebke adopting these gorgeous girlies.

Looking forward to hearing more about Erin as the days go by.

I am sure all is well and they will settle in a few days, looking forward to some pictures!

The hutch looked like world war 3 had broke out this morning what with the food bowls being tipped up rolleyes I have checked Erin over and she hasn't been bitten or anything so is this a good sign? She is rather nervous of the other 2 but Eliza has been throwing her weight around and won't leave her alone! There is still the rumble strutting going off and a lot of chasing but the teeth chattering seems to have calmed down.

Erin has shared a bowl of melon and cucumber with Eliza but Eleanor decided to have a bowl to herself.

I have had an awful nights sleep and found myself up at 2.30am checking on them mallethead

The fact that uber-dominant Eliza is letting her share food with her is a good sign! They will settle.
