Evie, Little Brambles brave little girl

With much sadness and tears Evie passed away last night, peacefully and without any distress, with me and her hutch buddies Norman and Cloud by her side.

This little girl brought so much to my life and even though she had only been with us a short time she was a remarkable pig whom I will never forget. Rainbow Bridge is very fortunate indeed tonight to have such a bright little star join the residents there.

She had been so neglected in her previous home and yet she displayed such trust in me it was quite extraordinary. She had been doing so well recently, despite her many ailments, her passing has quite knocked me for six.

She was a sweet, tender little girl with a serene nature. She accepted everything that was ever done for her with gratitude and thanks, she was always calm, always my little girl.

My heart aches for her tonight, she is so sorely missed. She was Little Brambles sponsor pig too and had many supporters and people who enquired after her - she will never be forgotten. A very very sad day here at LB. I simply can't quite believe she's gone.

Evie sounded like such a little darling...every now and then a very special one comes along .

Sweet dreams Evie, you will be the bright trusting star at the front of all the others waiting for mummy to see you there x

I'm so sorry - she sounds a very special little girl, and no wonder your heart is breaking. But try and remember how happy she was with you - she trusted and loved you, and that will hopefully be a happy memory when the worst of your pain is over. RIP little Evie
 
So very sorry to hear about little Evie, she sounds a darling. Sleep tight sweetheart and have fun at Rainbow Bridge.
 
i'm so sorry,i had a special place in my heart for evie. bless her and rip little lovely girl. you touched so many hearts, i just wish you'd always recieved love all your life like you deserved.

I have only just seen this thread as well and I must admit that i have tears in my eyes after reading your moving striy about her. Evie sounds like such a brave little girl and it is obvious she will be sadly missed. RIP Little one. Watch over mummy and your hutch buddies as they all love you very much x
 
I miss her a great deal - she had all sorts of special privileges and I miss giving her those. All those little extra special treats and comforts that she so enjoyed recieving and all the love she gave me in return. Bless her.

Her ashes were returned here this week though and she is now laid at rest with all our other dear furry friends.

Thank you all for your kind words, it means a great deal.

I now have to choose a new Sponsor Pig for Little Brambles, I am going to leave in until January now though.
