I have read all about the white fluid that piggies produce when they wash their faces but have only seen it occasionally on my two until this weekend.

Several times when Pacthy was on my lap, he produced loads of this white stuff and it actually squirted out of his eyes and onto my arm!

Is it normal to produce large amounts of fluid? He is perfectly fine btw - eyes are clean and not crusty at all. Was just wondering....

It's a bit unusual. Perhaps he has something in his eye? (Although that tends to cause watery eyes rather than profuse cleaning fluid.)

Hmm thank youi Weibke.

I will keep an eye on his eyes (!) just to be on the safe side but so far today all looks ok!
