So my Guinea pig has gotten like this large crust on her eye. It is covering the whole eye and we are gonna take her to the vet and we didn't notice because we were on vacation for spring break. Her whole eye is covered it's alomost like a bunch of crust all around her eye and we don't know what to do. Her ear on that side is also red sort of. Sometime she also chatters he teeth. I searched it up eveywhere but their was nothing posted on the internet on it just help me please!

Eyes are very delicate so you need to make taking her to the vet a priority. It's impossible to predict exactly what it is, but an infection or foreign bidy in the eye is most common.

Good luck.

Hi and welcome!

Please have her seen by a vet as soon as you can get an appointment, ideally as an emergency today.

Your piggy has either got a badly ulcerating eye or a respiratory infection. Eye injuries can deteriorate very quickly. The eye may also be badly dehyrated if it is shrunken looking.
