I went out to feed my guinea pigs tonight, and i was picking them up and checking around their bodied to make sure everything was ok...

When i picked up one of them, and opened one of her eyes i saw a very sore red round type thing on the top of her eye(think its an ulcer) shes eating fine and still happy and chirpy but i will make an appointment to get her to the vet xx

Heya,

It sounds like your pig definitely needs to see a vet. It's likely that she has caught her eye on a bit of hay or something similar causing abrasions to the eye surface and resulting in ulceration. Your vet will probably prescribe chloramphenicol eye drops to be put into the eye twice daily if this is the case. Try to keep it nice and clean and remove any bedding she can 'burrow' into e.g. hay not kept in a rack to prevent further damage to the eye. Hope you vet can help and it all clears up ok!
