F10 For Nebulization

Hi there!

I've read that people in the UK use F10 for nebulizing piggies with URI and for fungal infections, cage disinfection, etc. It sounds like a really good product to have around when needed.

Since there's no comparable product on the market in Bulgaria, would anyone please recommend specifically the kind you'd need for nebulizing or other medical uses? I already have a reliable cage disinfectant.

Would this one work: F10 SC Veterinary Disinfectant 100ml - From £10.04?

Parcel forwarding is so painfully slow, I'd like to be prepared if it's ever needed.

You need the F10 antiseptic rather than the disinfectant for nebulising. Here’s a link to the one you need for nebulising. F10 Antiseptic Solution Concentrated

You only need a minimal amount. 1ml in 250mls of water or I scale it down to 0.1 in 25mls water. I have been using this in my nebuliser this week as Mabel has a URTI.

F10 disinfectant is fabulous for cage cleaning and kills off all fungal spores.

I keep both at home.

That one must be the one my vet gave me when I went to get the advice and stuff I needed when I got my nebuliser for Zebedee last month. She wouldn't sell me a whole bottle, only 20ml in a little medicine bottle, and I have to mix 0.02ml of it into 5ml of saline for my nebuliser.

It’s powerful stuff, so I guess they don’t want to sell you more than you will need. My house smells like a hospital after we’ve nebulised one of the piggies.
 
I can imagine! Hibiscrub also smells horribly too

It's good that you need so little f10 for a piggy. This means that I'll be able to share it in our Bulgarian piggy forum, if ever someone needs it.
