Is it normal for piggys to have a "fat" roll behing thier heads (think scruff of neck like on a kitty) or should I cut down on the noms. Both choco n smores have it. Never h av ing owned piggys before..i wanted to ask here before I take them to the vet to be laugheed at!

Hmm usually they have a little fat roll under their chin hehe.
However, I'm sure if you know it is deffinutley fat and not a lump or anything, it is normal for your piggies.
It could be an indication that they are a little overweight, so perhaps you could pop them on the scales?
I'm sure your aware of correct weights for guineas, but if there pushing the 1.1kg mark, id cut down the pellets :)
I hope this helps at all.

All of mine have developed this as they have grown, they are definitely more bulky on the top of their neck, so I assume it's normal! :)

They r rather greedy with thier pellets...but ive cut them down lil by little now that they are past baby piggy stage. May be time to.cut.again. Not sure of thier weight at the moment..have no.scale. But due to get one soon.thanks for the reply..i felt rather silly asking
