Favourite sayings

My friend and I were just discussing our favourite "life lessons". You know, those little sayings that get you through the tough times.
Some of my faves are:

Opportunities always look a lot bigger going than they ever did coming
and
Never regret what you have done, only regret what you haven't done
and
Its always better to look like you haven't tried than to look like you've tried and failed ;D

What are your faves? What gets you through and helps you out?

One of my faves, its sort of a life lesson is:
You get what you pay for.
It's sooo true

Be careful what you wish for because you always get it - so true in my case!

Well mine for money problems mainly and life - ok it's naff

You have to reach rock bottom before things start moving up and looking good, then you appreciate things more
