Hi everyone!

After using my juicer today and inspecting how much pulp was left over I was just wondering if this would be suitable for piggies? I mean as well as feeding hay and whole fruit and veg. Rather than throwing the pulp in the compost bin, after all its perfectly nutritional and tasty still, it'd be a shame to waste it.

Do any of you do this? Is this mush accepted by piggies with it being a different texture than they're used to?

what exactly has been juiced fruit isn't good in large quantities but now and again in small amounts I'm sure would be ok. now if it's carrot juice.... :))

Well the most common juice I do is carrot and apple. Yummy and nutricious. I do make veggie juices aswell though.

So, I take it, in small amounts carrot and apple pulp would go down very nicely?! x

I can't imagine why a small amount of pulp wouldn't go down with the piglets. I've been tempted to eat it myself to be quite honest, I've tried it, but it's quite dry! :))

Does your juicer take whole fruit? If so, would the pulp contain hard bits of core and pips etc? Just wondering if there'd be any harmful bits in there perhaps, along with the residual fruit flesh? Just a thought... :)
