Hi i was wondering if people thought it would be ok to feed a guinea pig a morio worm?
I buy them for my leopard gecko and I recently found out gerbils love the occassional one too (and they do!). Just wanted to check if there could be any risks with a guinea pig before I try it.

My gut feeling is best not to.

No to all animal products as mentioned, and I'll add no to human food, processed food, 'treats' with added sugar and food high in grains and starch.
Guinea pigs evolved to eat grasses and some plants. Other food types can upset their stomachs.
Most rodents are omnivorous and enjoy the occasional meal-worm, but guinea pigs eat a plant-only diet. :)

No, they are strictly herbivores, not build to digest anything else.

I dont think a pig would know what to do with one if it were put under its nose :woot:
Defo no to worms :vom:
