Feeding my Pigs the skin only off a Pear

I make puree for my baby and all the skins normally get thrown out... I was thinking would it be okay to feed our piggies a bunch of pear peel seeing as its only the skin and not the fruit? I guess what I'm asking is it wouldn't be as high in sugar as the fruit itself would it? obviously it's got the fruit on it but it's not exactly a big chunk of fruit only the peel

Yes you can. Pear skin is actually nutritious, according to some sites. But you shouldn’t feed too much.
