last week my guinea pig lisa became very ill, took her vets they didn't know what was wrong, thought she had spinal nerve problems, she died next day 8.... my other 2 piggies maggie and spiker have been fine, usual selves. just checked piggies and maggie is dead she was fine yesterday 8... . i got maggie and lisa together, spiker later on. He looks fine but concerned as he is now on his own and worried i will loose him too.

How long ago did they pass...?
If it hasn't been to long I'd try and get a postmortem on them... Just incase it's something that's spreading...
It's so horrible when this happens especially so close together...

Oh I am so so sorry. That is so sad and awful for you.
Pets at home, never again (didn't know better at time). wont be having piggies again after these ones, can't handle loosing them. there has been a week between their deaths. maggie showed no signs of being unwell, looks like she died in her sleep. want to keep spiker close to me and not let him go, so gutted right now. single piggies don't do well on own really and i have heard of piggies dying not long after loosing their buddies. maggie and lisa were close! spiker missing his wives

maybe you could take spiker to the vets just for a general check up to be on the safe side?

So sorry that you have lost Lisa and Maggie so close together. Agree with the above idea of maybe taking Spiker to the vets for a check over.
In regards to Spiker, after our piggie was PTS earlier this year - her sister has been fine on her own and they were incredibly close, so it does depend on the piggie.
Make sure you give him lots of cuddles and attention. I know how heartbreaking it is to lose a piggie and it must be devastating to lose 2 so close together. Maybe in time you may feel differently and think about getting a friend for him.

aww thats so sad so sorry to hear that, how is spiker acting? is he crying for them or anything, maybe if you put a little cuddly toy in the corner of his cage so he doesnt feel like hes on his own, Ive done that with one of mine that had the fungal infection and he loves his teddy. Hope hes ok and so sorry bout the other two piggies RIP X
Spiker has been vets, now started on antibiotics as glands were enlarged so fingers crossed. He appears ok just a little low in mood but getting spoilt rotten!
