As it the end of the week and I did not have much veg left, my pigs only got a little carrot, peppers, celery and a little apple tonight for there tea. The way they looked at me and weeked at me, made to feel so guilty.
I am doing my weekly shop tomorrow, so they will have pently of veg then, but just wondering does, anyone feel the same way?

I feel the same everytime they wheek at me whether or not they have had lots of tea or not.

It when they all come to the front of the cages with their little eyes saying come on mom you know you can give us some more.

My Paris actually gives me a filthy look, they are very clever piggies :(|)

I get the "starving orphan" look first - "you can't be serious to have us eat this stuff?"
Then the wheeking - "come on, get us decent food!"
And if nothing comes of it, a VERY filthy look - "if I was a lawyer, I'd have you sued foranimal cruelty"!

Why do I never get a polite "Thank you" when I get things right?

My lot are the same by this time of the week - not much left in the cupboards for anyone. They got the dregs of the fridge last night. But it's shopping day today so they will have a big dinner!

I had the same look off Archie the other day, I had run out of hay, he kept sitting by his hay manger and staring at me, as if to say where is it then. I felt that guilty I had to make a special journey out at seven in the evening to get some.rolleyes

Always! Given that piggies will actually be fine for a couple of days without veg at all, I think all these piggies who complain at what they are given when things are running a bit low should think again! I do feel terrible when they get a mountain of veg at the start of the week and a molehill by the last day. :))

Ha ha yes I get the look too when the veg is a smaller pile than usual, I swear I see Cookie shaking her head at me as she walks away back to her bed in a strop :))
