Thank you

Hi and welcome

Please always double-check the gender of any new guinea pigs first and foremost unless it is from a food standard rescue with mandatory quarantine and pregnancy watch for sows. Mis-sexing in pet shop piggies is sadly not at all uncommon. :(

Secondly, please read our sow and our bonding and social interaction guides, which I have linked to previous threads of yours. You can find all guides at the top of the Behaviour section that has a green background.
In them, you will discover that mounting is a dominance behaviour for both genders. In sows you see it most often during bonding (which also includes establishing a new group hierarchy in a new home in what is the ca. 2 weeks dominance phase) and when they are in season. If the two coincide, things can get a bit wild.

When Sows Experience A Strong Season (videos)

Please take the time to read the links. They can REALLY save you further panic attacks because they tell you all the problem areas, how they look, where they are and what you can do about them! ;)

Don’t panic.
I have sows and I always know when one of them is having a strong season as a lot of humping goes on.
If it’s persistent then I’d the time to check for other possible causes.

Hi thank you all for replies they are ok today but will still take photos tmr and update here just in case

Hi I'm 100% sure they are females now but will be even more relieved when I will hear from you guys 😊, Guines are ok now , but from time to time I can hear vibrating noise quite deep and loud when one of pigies sniffing around another one , please see the photos of two of them

Its a bit hard to see clearly what they are. The best way to check is to feel VERY GENTLY just above the button. Run your finger from side to side if it's smooth you have a female. If you can feel a little ridge (penis ridge) then you have a boy.

It's impossible to say from your photos. You need to have clear, focussed, well lit photos ideally directly over the gentials. It is particularly difficult with darker piggies. Have you looked at the sexing guide that Wiebke linked to, if you peer into the slit you will either see it go straight down or see a fleshy arrangement immediately inside. If they both look the same then there isn't an issue. I remember my first two pigs mounting where the dominant one was clearly having a strong season and I was terrified I had missexed piggies

Sorry, but from those photos I can’t tell either, so best get a vet to check if you can’t get better close up photos. If you can get better photos, can you also please also tell us the age of the piggies as that can help us with sexing
