Oh Wiebke, I'm sitting here crying. I'm so sorry your little flower didn't make it. My heart aches for you.

RIP sweet Fflur - I'm so glad I knew you for this short time, and I know none of us will ever forget you.

Wiebke, it's no consolation now, I know that - but she had such a happy time with you, not long enough, it's true - but she knew she was loved and adored.

Wiebke, I am so, so sorry that Fflur didn't make it & so sorry that I have only just seen her thread 8... Huge hugs to you xx
Sleep well beautiful Fflur xx

Oh Wiebke... I'm so, so sorry. I just froze reading the bad news!

Little Fflur was SUCH a character, spunk enough for three or four piggies at least! I kinda thought Freja and Fflur shared a bond coming to us at almost the same time and being older ladies. I didn't think that she would follow Freja so soon, though... She had a wonderful home with you and the tribe. I have loved seeing all photos of her and hear about the things she has done.

We will be thinking about you...

I'm so, so sorry to hear this awful news Wieke, I know how much you loved her in the short time she was with you.

You did you very best for her, I'm so sorry she didn't make it.

Sending lots of hugs

Sophie

Awful, awful news. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Poor little Fflurr. Hugs to you and your herd. x

I'm so very sorry Wiebke. I know Fflur stole your heart from the moment you met her, she was such a special girl and you gave her a very special home.

You did all you could for her - so sad that she didn't make it.

Teresa xx

So sorry for your loss.

But the time that Fflur spent with you was her best time ever and you have lots of wonderful memories of her.

RIP Fflur. x x x x

I am so sorry to hear this Weibke. Huge hugs to you and you gave her the best home possible. popcorn free little Fflur x

Thanks everybody for your kind words! I am a little bit better now, though still feeling very raw. The tribe is very subdued as well; Fflur had slotted right in with her new friends.

We have just come home from picking up Fflur at the vets. Tomorrow, I will find her a nice little corner in the garden she sadly never got to see.

Oh Wiebke, I've only just seen this thread. I'm so so sorry that Fflur didn't make it, she was such a beautiful little lady. You and your tribe made her life a happy one and I'm sure she will think of you all fondly whilst she plays and popcorns at rainbow bridge.

Sleep peacefully little lady. x

*MASSIVE HUGS* to you Wiebke and your darling piggies. x

Oh Wiebke, I'm so very, very sorry to hear about darling Fflur

She is a beautiful girl and was with you all too briefly. She certainly made herself right at home with your tribe and knew real love and companionship with you, Llewelyn and the girls

A big hugs to you at this horrible time :(

Sleep peacefully pretty Fflur and know that you are loved and missed terribly xx

I cant believe that Fflur has left for the bridge. I just saw this thread and reading through it I was willing your little princess to pull through. So very sorry.

I am so sorry to hear this, Wiebke. I missed this original thread (I am still catching up from the no computer time, plus I am still a bit confused because the threads are so different than they used to be) and only read the sad outcome now.

I can only echo what has been said - Fflur had a great time with you, and you should remember all the good times. RIP little darling piggy.

So very sorry for your loss :( hope your feeling ok, piggies here are all sending wheeks and kisses x

Lots of hugs to you Wiebke, there are no words to describe how sad this news is. Fflur truly was a beautiful, very special girl, a wonderful character. I feel honoured to have met her, and I know she meant so much to you, she couldn't have found a better home. She'll be getting to know Minx, Mischief and Dizzy, they'll be showing her all the good places to go, she's not alone wherever she's gone. x

I am so so sorry 8... cannot believe that she didn't make it...I was so willing her to come through it safely! Sending big bear hugs for you and the tribe! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks to everybody for their kind words.

We have just been and buried Fflur in the garden, with some irises from us humans and creamy primula blooms from the other piggies. When it is warmer, I will go and transplant some of my selfseeded forget-me-nots, like with my other piggies.

Otherwise, I can't still really take it in that Fflur is not here anymore... She's made such a huge impact, not just with me, but also with her new piggy family. They miss her very much!

That's beautiful... Such a wonderful tradition with the forget me nots too! I would have wanted to bury Freja myself too, but the ground will be frozen for quite some time and having my darling piggie in the freezer was just not something I wanted to do... She was cremated by the vet and the ashes spread in a memorial garden for pets. I might go there when spring comes and bring some forget me nots.

Yes, she certainly made herself a part of the tribe! I remember the introductory posts and how anxious they all were to meet her! I might actually go and find that thread now... It will make me happy-sad, that odd feeling you know...

This sounds nice (funeral and forget me nots).
Of course you and the piggy family miss Fflur, I know it hurts very much, but it will get better.
I hope there isn't a lonely piggy who was Fflur's best friend and will now be lonely?
