*sigh* Winston has been on antibiotics for ~2 weeks. Now he has some diarrhea (sorry for the tmi). Vet said to stop the antibiotics and to give food high in fiber. What’re your favorite for fiber?

Hay is the best high fibre food for piggies If he is eating properly for himself. Otherwise a recovery feed is also high in fibre if he needs syringe feeding (Either due to loss of appetite or as a top up)

Thank you! The antibiotic was baytril so I think it’s just a side effect. He’s been given hay and pellets and nibbled on apple peel. He still has a great appetite and all this started this morning 🙃

Yes baytril can upset tummies.
you could also try giving a probiotic or using poop soup (made with very fresh poops from a healthy companion)
Don’t give him fruit or veg though while he is having diarrhoea - it’ll make things worse (particularly sugary fruit won’t do him any favours). Stick to hay (and pellets) until his poops normalise

Digestive Disorders: Diarrhea - Bloat - GI Stasis (No Gut Movement) And Not Eating

Oh! Thank you! I think it’s his medicine, because my other two are completely fine. Odd question, I want to keep him clean, but I don’t want to make him cold. Any suggestions? After baths he shivers and it breaks my heart but also want to make sure he’s clean

You could wipe him down with a wet flannel rather than bath him each time. If he’s shivering it’s cold. He needs to dry properly. Some people use a hair dryer (lowest setting and cool) to dry their piggies, but he may not like it.
