The real version reads like its been written by a 12 year old (obviously not those scenes but the quality of the actual writing is what I mean there haha)

Yep. I read those to my brothers as bedtime stories and have loved them for years. If it is half as good as those then I'll be happy!

Glad you like it. I really didn't think much of the original either. It was crude in places and I couldn't finish it. I prefer a little more sweetness and innocence in what is supposed to be a love story.

you could do 'piggy and the bean stalk' instead of him climbing the bean stalk he could eat it and become really fat. Or 'squeaking beauty' instead of 'sleeping beauty'. Or 'harry potter the chamber of vegetables'. cant think of any more :/. 8)
