Well they've lasted longer than last time, now at 32 hours! (not that I'm counting! lol)
I actually think it worked to seperate them last time, Stripes is much calmer now, it's like he knows if he plays up they'll be split up again.
I even saw them sharing the same bed which is definately a break through. Keeping the bedroom doors open all the time has stopped them fighting over who gets which bed, they just keep swapping.
Hardly any nipping, other than when it was deserved - well you can expect to get away with leaning on him so you can have a good scratch with out falling over, what did you expect Spike!
Although, I do think the boys are actually gremlins! I've just given them a big pile of orchard grass and they've woken up and are playing kiss chase!
Fingers crossed we get through a second night together. I've got a good feeling about them, they'll be snuggled up together in no time. (i hope! everything's still crossed)
It's a great comfort having read other people's post on the forum to know it's all just normal behaviour and it has worked for other people. Thanks everyone.
