So I got my shampoo today, my piggies could probably do with a bath soon... I am nervous! Never bathed anything but a dog before.
My older girl is still skittish so I think it will be hard work. Although she does sit still well from being scared, but i don't want to scare her to death.
We don't have a bath either, any one good any good suggestions on what to put them in? I have read about buckets, one for piggies and one for extra water. But i think i only have one bucket haha And also how much shampoo do I put on? My youngest are both 2 and a half months old, they can be bathed now or shall i wait a few more months? Thanks!

Don't be nervous, just ensure that the water is at a comfortable level and temperature for them, and don't wet their heads. If you can, hold their front up with your hand so they arn't fully in the water all the time. Just put a blob of shampoo on their back and massage it in, then rinse with a jug of some sort. Bath time isn't fun for piggies and you might notice that they'll squeak or try and run, but other times they just sit there and want it over with lol!

Mine could all do with a bath too, but seeing as they're outdoor piggies (living in a shed) i'm thinking it's too cold, so may wait until the weather is warmer.

I've read the article, can I use human shampoos? Ie wash and go?
