I decided as Ive ordered Reggie a new bigger cage I'd like to trial out using fleece. So today I bought some from Sainsbury's and decided to give it a try tonight....

Heres are some pics...... This is Reggie's messy cage just before I changed it lol! He really is a mucky pup.

Then I lined the bottom with newspaper.........

Then here is the fleece.......

And finally the boy in the cage.
He was so cute he kept sniffing round everything and kept popcorning. Obviously likes it.

I'm about to add some photos where I have put his little leopard bed in the cage too, and boy he looks likea right stud! Ladies & gents keep your piggy girls locked away lol!

Awww, he's so adorable, I love all of his pics. x) x) x)
Did you wash the fleece 3 times in non-bio ( and NO softner) first? If not then don't worry if the wee sits on top, that's the reason why and is easy enough to remedy. :)

Thanks hun :)
I bought the fleece today so not washed it but I bought some non bio powder to wash it in after the first use etc. x

He's a real cutie :)) Yes it probably won't wick away as you haven't done the three washes yet, so don't be surprised if you find puddles tomorrow lol! Also you might find popping a couple of towels under the fleece (on top of the paper) will also absorb more wee :)

Ooops I forgot to add the pic but I did put two tea towels on top of the newspaper too.....

Switching to fleece soon for the girls in the front, so thanks for posting this. Great Tips Andrea and Poppy'sMum!

Well I am surprised I have come downstairs this morning and the fleece is still nice and clean apart from the odd poops etc.
He was still flat out asleep on it though so must like it :) x
