Three ventured out and about but 3 just moved about under the sofa. ALL were a pain to catch!

we used to have our semi free-range in the lounge. They used to love hiding under the futtonmallethead... but also eat the wires, the skirting boards and the futton slats. I sold it when we moved out and felt really embarrassed at all the teeth marks...rolleyes
They would also hide in the curtains which was hilarious because you could just see a paw sticking out and you'd know there was a pig fast asleep somewhere in the drapes. :))
However, they were always in charge of when they'd go back to the cage (on the floor) and they made me late for work so many times... grrrr

Beautiful group of piggies! They will get braver and start venturing out more, you shouldn't need to fish them out from under the sofa for too much longer. :))

Did they get on ok with the floor? That can throw them quite a bit if they're not used to it.

yes i was wondering about that did they go ski ing. we use to have oak floor but ripped it up .i put a fleece tucked under my cushions on sofa and chairs and it hangs down and covers gap below sofa and they dont go under then

The floor didn't seem to cause any issues. Their little feet sounded soooo cute on the floor too. Tiny tap tap tap's.

Three of them were really quite brave and I even got my first guinea pig lick which was cute. The older 3 were the biggest chickens - maybe after a few more tries.

awww they are so cute,i love hidding piggy pics,i had a sililar issue with Cooper when we first go him,he raced under the bed and took me and OH 30mins to get him out,i swear they do it for all the cuddles and food they get afterwards:))

Bless them! Great pics!

I make sure that mine can't get behind the sofa or anywhere I can't get at them.
Your piggies will come out and reconnoitre their new territory eventually!
