Thought i would put up some pics of the pigs. I wanted them to be able to come indoors when it is raining and gets to the winter and to have a run about and for our son to be able to sit in with them so went to P&H and bought 2 small animal pens and put some plastic down on the living room floor and they loved it and so did jake he could sit in with them.So when winter arrives the pigs can still have there run about here is some pics hope you like them cheers kellyann.

P.S HOPE I PUT THIS IN RIGHT PLACE.

That's a nice big run for some lovely (and happy) piggies; if you want more advice you can always post in "housing" for tips.

It reminds me so much of the fun we were having as children with our then piggies. We used to build hurdles with rulers and had lots of fun with empty toilet rolls, soap boxes and old towels. I'm sure Jake will as well!

Thanx for the advice and reply no matter what i pup in the run with them they alway seem to stay in the same place i thought all that space they would go mad and run all over but only went round a little way but at least they can run and go mad if they want.

Have Jake put things to investigate and hide in different corners and they will get bolder. Tucking treats in them helps a lot! J

ake can try and teach them to come to him for food, for instance - piggies are bright enough for a bit of doggie training!

Adult guinea pigs are usually a lot calmer than youngster who have anexcess of energy to get rid of. But they still enjoy their free time! :))

wow. I'm surprised they're so calm. if i put gilbert in a playpen with nothing but food, he would run around in FEAR. real cute:)

Lovely little piggies :) i Like the run too :) i have been looking around for ages for something like that, i cant find NO C&C in kent!

where did you get yours from? :)

i there i got this from pets @ home there actually for small animals it says but as the pigs will never be left alone in this i thought it would do the trick and they dont even try to get out of it they love it it cost £13.99 and you get 8 sections with it they just link together i actually got 1 from tesco last year for a fiver but didnt have anymore so wanted one more to add to there run have a look on pets at home web site under small animals you will find it in there i cant pup link up something strange going on with the comp lol

That looks great & what lovely piggies you have x)
