For those of you who use fleece in your cages, there are some nice fleece throws in B&M. They're really good quality and not too expensive. I've bought some leopard print and tiger print throws and also a purple one. They also had pink, brown, pink and white stripes, brown and white stripes. I think the size was something like 2m20 x 2m50 (£7.99) but they had smaller ones too.

Here's a picture of the tiger print throw (sorry about the poos):

You can buy them from the toy section in Ikea. The only modification I made is that I put some lino on the base underneath the fleece blankets to protect it a bit.

How on earth do the pigs understand flat-pack assembly instructions?

I don't know, but I reckon one or two of mine would have a good go at it! Bet they'd get left with two unexplained extra 'screw A's' though!

They don't have a problem with the instructions, it's the lack of opposable thumb that really thwarts them!

they are such cute beds.... I might have to go but I don't think I could talk my boyfriend into this as when we moved into our house a year ago we went three times once to have a bt of a look, second to decide what we wanted and then third time with a big van to carry all the stuff! It took 2-3 hrs each time as in warrington they lay it out so you have to walk through the whole shop and you can't rush when other people are walking slowly in front of you. You end up with a kinda traffic jam / gridlock :))

Even without opposable thumbs they would make a better job than me. The one danger I see is that they would eat the instructions and only later realise what they were needed for.
