Can anybody recomend where to get some fabric mesh to cover the gp cage to stop flies getting at them and if there is any herds that are gp safe and that flys dont like that I can buy I really dont want those upsetting my piggies

Hi - visit a garden centre. They all sell mesh by the metre that keep out insects. I have some pegged down on the top of my guinea pig outdoor run for cover and sunlight detraction.

Old net curtains work well, provided the mesh knit is small. Voile fabric or curtain panels are great you can buy it by the metre, cut to size and Velcro on.xx

I have this for my hutch.

Hutch Snuggles with Bye Bye Fly Screen™

It is quite expensive but the cover that goes over the hutch itself is foil lined bubblewrap and fits my hutch perfectly underneath the thermal waterproof cover. It also helps to keep the hutch cooler in summer and warmer in the winter
