Hello everyone!
I was wondering if any of you have any tips or advice on flying or taking a ferry with guinea pigs. For those of you who say it isn't necessary, It is if I am planning on moving with piggies. I will do anything I can to make it as stress-free as possible. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi! I cannot offer that much advice, but as someone who does live in the U.S., I will tell you - most airlines will not accept rodents onboard. The only airline I can think of that allows piggies is Frontier, and I am unsure whether or not they have changed their policy. I believe that Alaska, Spirit, Southwest, United, American, and Delta do not allow guinea pigs, unfortunately. I am not 100% certain, though.
I hope that you and your piggies have safe travels! Best of luck! :)

It would also help if you could tell us a bit more about the travel options, length of trip etc.
Having flown with guinea pigs, rabbits and dogs in the past I would say ferry would definitely be the easier (and probably cheaper) solution but it will depend on where you are travelling from-to and also the time of year, climate etc.
