SO. For our 4-month-old piggies. We have been following one of the other posts about what to feed our piggies......(there is a picture of a plate, with some green, gem lettuce, pepper etc)

I've since split this too. Greens in the morning. Then the pepper and the like in the evening.

Anyway. I have a real issue with food waste.

We buy all the veg for the piggies and then we end up throwing a lot away as it 'goes off' - And I'm not keen on throwing food away.

Any tips?

Get more piggies so they eat it faster :D?

Or, being less flippant, try and integrate some of the things you buy for the piggies into your own diets. Or buy less and forage more, especially at this time of year (just wash well to remove dog/fox wee and too much traffic pollution).

We rarely have food waste as we eat just the same as our piggies! So, tonight they are having beansprouts and coriander because I am making a stir fry. If I make sweet potato and spinach curry, they get sweet potato and spinach. They never get celery because we dont eat it ourselves. They get cucumber and red pepper every day (we eat those too but they keep quite well anyway) but whatever else they get is usually something we are eating!
