We dont have that many veggies so I'm only allowed to give my guinea pigs veggies twice a week each time they get one leaf of lettuce and some bell pepper. My question is if I should give a lot at once or give a little each day of the week. Any advice is appreciated!

You should defiantly give a little each day. Could you give ! bell pepper per pig each day and some lettuce for each pig daily too? Also if your guinea pigs cant have much veggies then if you can I would get Sherwood pellets. Its meant to be a replacment in veggies and will give a lot of vitamins that they will be missing from their missing veggies. Also 80% of their diet is hay so hopefully your guinea pigs have hay?

My guinea pig has tons of hay, but unfortunatley I can't give that much bell pepper. I'll try the pellet though

Please consider though, if your guinea pigs have been on a really sugary pellet brand it might be hard to switch over. It took my guinea pigs 3 weeks before they started eating everything in the bowl, but I supplemented them with the Sherwood vitamin c tablets, they also had hay, and they had their veggies. If they are really hungry then they will eat the pellets. :)

My Finn and Lara each get about a cup and a half of veggies throughout the day divided into three portions, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They get romaine lettuce, baby spring veggies, cucumber, baby carrot, and herbs of different kinds like parsley, cilantro or coriander, basil, dendelion, and etc. Currently they get a lot of dandelion.

Mine get endless supply of Oxbow hay throughout the day, and some Oxbow pellets.

I feel my piggies need vitamins from veggies to live healthy and happy lives. That beats exotic vet visits any day becuase I know how much exotic vet visits cost per visit.
